 Hey every body welcome to my blog post first of all,  the moment you open this post pat on  your shoulder and take a deep breath with proud because  you made an attempt to learn something new, at least you are willing to try something new.And the topic is,

                 CYBER BULLYING

Cyber bullying is bullying with the use of digital technologies. It can takes place on social media, messaging platforms, gaming platforms and mobile phones. It is repeated behaviour  aimed at scaring ,angering or shaming those who are targeted. I think I have gone too complicated so let me precise to get easily understand.

Cyber bullying can be simply defined as harrasing or creating insecurity on online through social media platforms.

for example:

1.spreading lies or posting embarising photos of someone on social media.

2.Threatening target via messages.

face to face bullying and cyber bullying can often happen along side each other. But Cyber bullying leaves a digital foot print  a record that can prove useful and provide evidence to help stop the abuse

Effects of cyber bullying: 

 When bullying happens online it can feel as if you are being attacked every where. This can cause Mental,emotional and physical pains and can even leads to depression and sucidal attempts and even ending life.

How can we save our self from this cyber bullying:

If the bullying is happening on social platform,consider blocking the bully and formally reporting their behaviour on the platform itself. social media companies are obligated to keep their user safe.

*For bullying to stop ,it needs to be identified and reporting is key. it can also help to show the bully that their behaviour is unacceptable.

*if you are in immediate danger then you should contact the police or emergency services in your country.

If you or some one you know has been a victim of cyber bullying here are all the things you can do:

The first step  should be to block and report your cyber bullying on the particular social media platform.

You can conveniently launch an official complaint. your cyber bullying on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal:

There is a specific coloumn where you can report cyber crimes related to children and women. If you don't want to give out your personal details you can file a complaint anonymously on this portal.

Save the evidence record the date ,time and description of the incidents in the form of screen shots.

The easiest way to save the evidence for record and future use is to take screen shots of the incidents where you are being cyber bullied. This comes in handy when you have to officially report cyber bullying.

To be on the safer side ,change your passwords:

This is just a precautionary method to ensure your future, cyber safety.
